Parent Teacher Organization Committees
Auction Committee
The Committee and its sub-committees solicit donations from individuals and businesses, plan the program, make preparations for the auction itself, run the auction, and manage the finances.
Ways & Means Committee
This committee oversees the fundraising activities of the PTO. It is chaired by the Ways and Means Coordinator, with participation of the Volunteer Coordinator and other parent volunteers.
Finance Committee
This Committee prepares the annual budget and provides monthly finance reports to the Operating Committee. It is chaired by the Treasurer, with the Ways and Means Chairperson and up to two additional volunteers as members.
Morale Committee
This committee supports most of the social events, particularly those involving the students. Co-chaired by the Events Coordinator and the Grade Reps, this Committee's members include the Volunteer Coordinator, the Room Parents, and other volunteers as needed. It assists with the PTO programs for Catholic Schools Week, and helps as needed with Faculty and Staff Appreciation efforts. It also provides for student and volunteer appreciation and recognition. Typically the Committee meets monthly.
Communications Committee
The Communications Committee prepares the bi-weekly newsletter, the "Cardinal Flyer", as well as any news releases concerning school events. It also solicits for the annual election ballot nominees to serve on the Operating Committee, prepares the ballot and any proposed revisions to the PTO charter, and counts the ballots. This committee is chaired by the Secretary. Its members include the Charter Chair and any volunteers as needed.
