Mary’s Comfort will be hosting a Gratitude Reception on April 19 from 2:30–4:00 PM in the Bradican Room. This is an opportunity to celebrate the generosity of our donors, connect as a parish community, and learn more about the mission of Mary’s Comfort. Our monthly Ecumenical Prayer Service is this Monday, 20 April at 8pm in the Church. Please plan to join us, bring friend and experience and evening of prayer and song in the Taizé tradition.
The Virginia MARCH FOR LIFE is Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Virginia State Capitol Grounds, 1000 Bank Street, Richmond. The day begins with a rally at 10am followed by the march starting at 11am. New this year is the opportunity to register for training sessions after the march at 12:30 to help prepare advocates to stop the extreme proposed constitutional amendment that would allow virtually unlimited abortion at any stage of pregnancy. All Saints Church Multi-Car Raffle is still in full swing. Four vehicles will be raffled along with a $20,000 cash drawing, plus other cash drawings. The final deadline for ticket returns is April 21th. The drawings begin at 1:00pm Saturday, April 25th at All Saints Parish in Manassas. Please return all tickets by mail directly to All Saints in the envelope provided.

Living the Liturgical Year:
Happy 3rd week of Easter! On April 25, we celebrate the feast of St. Mark the Evangelist. He is one of the Gospel writers and the first bishop of Alexandria, Egypt. He is associated with the symbol of a winged lion. Did you know that St. Mark’s mother, also named Mary, owned the house where the Last Supper had taken place? It was also at the Upper Room of the house where the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles. Celebrate St. Mark’s feast day by baking lion cupcakes with your children. Plan to join us on Sunday, April 26 following the 9am Mass for our last Sunday Donut Social until fall. Parents, enjoy coffee and fellowship while your children make liturgical themed crafts with our volunteers!

Tuesday, April 21 is our next Dinner with Friends at 5pm, at Saratoga Pizzeria, 8050 Rolling Road. We meet for this casual meal on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.
YOUTH MINISTRY
High School
All high schoolers are invited to take advantage of the FCPS student holiday and join us for 9am daily Mass, followed by donuts and fun in the youth room until 10:30am.
All high schoolers are invited to attend our Thursday night small group sessions. Guys’ Small Groups will be on 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7pm in the Youth Room. Girls’ Small Groups will be on 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7pm in the Youth Room.
All adults of the parish are invited to consider volunteering for Workcamp. We can find a role for anyone willing to help. We are especially in need of contractors with skills in home repairs (no license necessary) and female crew leaders to serve alongside our teens during the week of Workcamp.
